Peterborough Share

Peterborough Share does what its name promises: a Wednesday evening Alcoholics Anonymous meeting built around members sharing their experience, strength and hope, held at 7.30pm at the East Community Centre on Padholme Road, east of the city centre. The meeting runs for an hour and a half, leaving room for plenty of voices. It is open, so people who want to stop drinking can attend alongside family, friends and professionals; nobody is asked to prove anything at the door. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge, no booking and no referral needed, and if speaking feels like too much on a first visit, listening is entirely enough.
