Paisley Abbey

Paisley Abbey meets on Friday evenings at eight o'clock, again at Methodist Central Hall on Gauze Street, and runs for around ninety minutes, rounding off the week alongside the hall's Thursday meeting. Despite the name, the meeting is held at the Methodist hall rather than the abbey itself, so it's worth knowing where to head. It's a closed AA meeting, kept for those with a desire to stop drinking rather than open to family, friends or professionals, in keeping with the Third Tradition. Wheelchair access at this venue has not been confirmed for the Friday meeting, so anyone with accessibility needs may want to check beforehand. There's no cost and nothing to book; people generally arrive shortly before eight.
