About this meeting
Oxford Sunday meets online every Sunday at 7.30pm, UK and Ireland time, and although it carries the name of the local group it began as, it is joined online from wherever members happen to be. Like other Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings, it brings together adults whose upbringing involved a parent's drinking or other family dysfunction, giving them space to talk through how that childhood continues to affect adult relationships, self-worth and everyday coping. The Sunday evening timing offers a chance to reflect before the working week begins. It is an open meeting, so friends, family members and professionals with an interest in the fellowship are also welcome to sit in and listen.
