About this meeting

Oxford Primary Purpose is a members-only Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held on Thursday evenings at 6pm in St Michael's At The North Gate on Cornmarket Street, and it runs for about an hour. Being members-only, it is intended for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends or professionals attending to observe, in keeping with its focus on AA's stated primary purpose of helping members stay sober and carry that message to others. Wheelchair access at this particular St Michael's meeting has not been confirmed, so members with mobility needs may want to check ahead. It runs alongside several other AA meetings held at the same central Oxford venue during the week.
