Oldmeldrum

The Oldmeldrum group meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the Meldrum and Bourtie Parish Church Hall on Albert Road, running for a full two hours. That length gives room for a proper mix of readings, shares and conversation over tea afterwards, rather than a meeting that feels rushed. It is a closed meeting, for those with a desire to stop drinking rather than a general audience, and there is no requirement to have attended before or to know anyone in the group. The hall is wheelchair accessible, which is worth knowing for anyone travelling from further afield in rural Aberdeenshire. There is no charge for attending and no booking system, arriving a few minutes early is all that is needed.
