Nottingham Sherwood

Sherwood's Tuesday morning meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at 11.30am at the Methodist Church on Devon Drive, in the Sherwood area north of Nottingham city centre. The meeting lasts an hour and is open, so anyone may attend: people with a desire to stop drinking, relatives and friends, and professionals who want to see how AA works in practice. A late-morning slot makes it a useful option for anyone who works evenings, has childcare in the afternoon, or simply prefers not to travel after dark. The church has wheelchair access. There is no cost, no booking and no referral; you can simply arrive a few minutes before 11.30 and take a seat.
