Nottingham Beginners

Nottingham Beginners meets every Thursday at 7pm in St Georges Centre on Victoria Road, Netherfield, and runs for an hour and a half. As the name suggests, the meeting is aimed at people new to Alcoholics Anonymous, though as an open meeting anyone is welcome, including family and friends wanting to learn more about the programme. Netherfield sits to the east of Nottingham city centre, giving people in that part of the city a closer option than heading into town. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the evening timing suits people coming straight from work. Beginners meetings tend to focus more on the basics of the programme rather than assuming prior knowledge.
