Notting Hill Newcomers Chips

Notting Hill Newcomers Chips gathers every Wednesday evening at 7.30 in the room above the Farm Girl Café on Portobello Road, near Notting Hill Gate tube. It is an open AA meeting, welcoming anyone affected by someone else's drinking as well as those with a desire to stop themselves. Tea and coffee are served before the meeting starts, giving people time to chat and settle in. As the name suggests, it leans towards newcomers, with short chairs shaped around early recovery. The room is up one flight of stairs with no wheelchair access, so it will not suit everyone. It runs for about an hour and sits within easy reach of the Central and Circle lines.
