W Bezsilnosci Sila, which translates roughly as strength in powerlessness, is a Polish-speaking meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous in Northolt, west London. It meets on Monday evenings at 7.45pm at Northolt Village Community Centre, on the corner of Church Road and Ealing Road, and runs for an hour and twenty minutes, entirely in Polish. The meeting is open, so as well as Polish speakers with a desire to stop drinking, family members, friends and professionals are welcome to attend. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking or referral needed. It is one of three Polish-speaking AA meetings held at this centre each week, alongside Wednesday and Saturday groups.
