Girl Guide Hall in Newry hosts a Gamblers Anonymous meeting every Monday at 8pm. It is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, including people with a desire to stop gambling as well as family, friends and anyone else affected by someone else's gambling. The meeting typically runs for two hours. It operates on the same peer-support basis as the wider Gamblers Anonymous fellowship, with members supporting one another rather than a professional running the room. The venue does not currently have wheelchair access. No booking is needed, and, like all Gamblers Anonymous meetings, it is free. Whether it's your first meeting or your fiftieth, you'll be welcome.
