Newmains

Every Wednesday at half past seven in the evening, an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting runs at the Newmains and St Brigid's Community Hub on Stewart Crescent, close to Wishaw, lasting around ninety minutes. It is a closed meeting, for people who have a desire to stop drinking, rather than family members or professionals wanting to observe. There is no charge and nothing to book, you can simply arrive shortly before the start time. Wheelchair access at this venue has not been confirmed, so it would be worth checking ahead if mobility is a concern. Newmains sits just outside Wishaw, and the group gives residents there a meeting within easy reach rather than needing to travel further afield.
