Newcomers’ Meeting

The Newcomers' Meeting is a closed Cocaine Anonymous meeting held every Monday at 7.30pm at Restore Garden Cafe on Manzil Way in Oxford, running for about an hour. As the name suggests, it is aimed particularly at people new to the fellowship, combining Big Book readings with a speaker sharing their own experience of recovery. It is intended for people with a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances rather than open to the general public. A chit system operates, so a signed attendance slip is available for anyone who needs evidence for court, probation or treatment. There is no cost to attend and no need to book, simply arrive before the meeting starts.
