Newcomers 12 Step Experiences

Newcomers 12 Step Experiences meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm, running for an hour at a venue on John Barker Place in Hitchin, held as a face-to-face session. Despite the name, attendance is restricted to those with a desire to stop using, in line with the Third Tradition, rather than open to the general public. Wheelchair access at the venue has not been confirmed. The focus on sharing experience of working through the Twelve Steps makes this a useful fixture for those newly arrived in the fellowship as well as longer-standing members. It gives Hitchin its own weekly CA meeting, distinct from the Wednesday and Thursday sessions held in nearby Letchworth Garden City and Stevenage.
