Newcastle Step

Newcastle Step meets on Friday mornings at 10.30am at George Street Social on George Street, working through the twelve steps in sequence over successive weeks. Coming at the end of the working week, it gives members a chance to reflect before the weekend, with discussion generally centred on whichever step is currently under review. It's a closed meeting, for AA members and anyone with a desire to stop drinking, rather than an open meeting for visitors. Wheelchair access to the venue has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may want to check with the group beforehand. George Street Social also hosts other AA meetings during the week, including a women's meeting on Tuesdays.
