Venue Info: Turn Right when you Enter the Main Building The Format of the Meeting is an Experience, Strength & Hope Share. Bus Routes: 267, 7, 7A, 6, 6A
The New Way Of Life group meets every Friday evening at the Adelphi Centre on Commercial Road, in Glasgow's south side. Gatherings run from 18:15 for an hour in Room 4 — when you come through the main building, turn right and you'll find it. This is a share meeting built around experience, strength and hope, where members talk honestly about staying clean and living differently. Newcomers are particularly welcome, and children are too. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Several bus routes stop nearby, including the 6, 6A, 7, 7A and 267, so it's easy to reach without a car. Do note the format can vary week to week, and the venue is unavailable on public holidays. No pets, please.
Who can come to this meeting?
This is an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome — including family, friends and anyone curious about NA. It's especially geared towards newcomers, and children are welcome too. The only requirement for NA membership itself is a desire to stop using drugs.
Do I need to book or pay?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary collection may be passed round, but you're never expected to give anything, particularly on your first visit.
Is the venue accessible and easy to reach?
The Adelphi Centre is wheelchair accessible. When you enter the main building, turn right to reach Room 4. Buses 6, 6A, 7, 7A and 267 all serve the area. Note the venue is closed on public holidays and pets aren't allowed.
