Mottingham It Works If You Work It

It Works If You Work It brings people together in Mottingham on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm, in St Andrews Church Hall on Court Road, Greenwich. The meeting is open, so it welcomes anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous, including those supporting a partner or relative through their own desire to stop drinking. It runs for about an hour and operates a chit system, meaning attendance slips can be signed for anyone who needs written evidence of attendance, for example for court, probation or a treatment programme. The hall itself is wheelchair accessible, and as with every AA meeting there is no fee and nothing to book. Newcomers are welcome to simply listen if speaking does not feel right yet.
