Every Monday at 6pm, the Morpeth Big Book Study meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous gathers at the Methodist Church on Howard Terrace in the centre of Morpeth. The group spends an hour and a half studying the Big Book, the text that sets out AA's programme of recovery, so it is a useful meeting if you want to get to grips with how sobriety is actually achieved and maintained.
