Milton Keynes Newcomers meets on Saturday mornings at 9.30 at Woburn Sands Methodist Church on the High Street in Woburn Sands, on the south-eastern edge of Milton Keynes. Enter via the side entrance of the church. As the name suggests, this Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is geared towards people who are new to the fellowship, though members at any stage of recovery come along too. It is an open meeting, so family, friends and anyone with an interest in AA are welcome to sit in. The meeting lasts an hour, and there is nothing to pay and nothing to book; if you are wondering whether AA might help, the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
