About this meeting
The Merthyr Al-Anon Family Group meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm at Elim Church on Court Street in Merthyr Tydfil. Al-Anon exists for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, whether that's a partner, parent, adult child, sibling or friend, and this meeting is open to all of them without exception. No connection to Alcoholics Anonymous is needed, and the person who drinks does not need to be involved in any way. Members meet to share their own experience and support one another through what can be a difficult and isolating situation. Newcomers are welcome to attend without notice, and there is no obligation to speak on a first visit.
