No, not at all. The meeting exists for your own support, and it is entirely normal to attend alone; the relative or friend whose drinking affects you does not need to be there.

Is there a cost, and do I need to book a place?

No cost and no booking required. Arrive for 7pm on Tuesday; the meeting runs for an hour and a half in total.
