Lowestoft Big Book Stories takes its theme from the personal stories in AA's basic text, reading and discussing them each Friday evening. The meeting is held at the United Reformed Church on London Road North, from 7pm to 8pm. It is open to all: people who want to stop drinking, and anyone else with a reason to be there, whether family member, friend or professional. Hearing how others describe their own drinking and recovery can be a gentler introduction than being asked about yourself, and nobody new is expected to speak. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed at this venue. Attendance is free and there is no booking.
