Lower Gardiner Street Thursday

An Al-Anon Family Groups meeting is held every Thursday at 11am in Dublin 1, at Teach Mhuire on Lower Gardiner Street. Al-Anon Family Groups is for relatives and friends affected by someone else's drinking, whether that person is still drinking or has stopped; membership is about the effect on the member, not on the person who drinks, and each member's experience is treated as their own. This meeting is open to all, so there is no barrier to walking in for the first time, whether alone or alongside someone else, and no obligation to say anything on a first visit. The meeting runs for about an hour, and there is no need to book or ring ahead - simply arrive and take a seat, even if it is your first time.
