About this meeting
Every Tuesday at 8pm, Al-Anon Family Groups meet at the Family Resource Centre on Piggot Street in Loughrea, Co. Galway. Al-Anon is for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, including partners, parents, adult children and friends, whether or not that person is still drinking. This is an open meeting, so first-timers are welcome without having attended before, and there is no need to bring the person whose drinking has affected you, since the meeting is for your own support. Members share how they cope and how the Al-Anon programme has helped them. The meeting runs for about an hour, is free to attend, and there is no need to book in advance.
