About this meeting
The Family Life Centre on St Mel's Road in Deanscurragh, Co. Longford hosts an Al-Anon meeting every Tuesday, starting at 8pm, and lasts around an hour. Al-Anon Family Groups exist for anyone, of any age, whose life has been touched by someone else's drinking. As an open meeting, it welcomes anyone with an interest in Al-Anon, as well as its own members. Newcomers are not expected to say anything at their first meeting, and many people attend for some time simply to listen before they join in. Al-Anon groups follow the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous, and meetings are self-supporting through voluntary contributions from members.

How long does the meeting last?
