In Pimlico, part of the City of Westminster, Gamblers Anonymous meets on Sunday evenings at St Margaret's Drop-in Centre on Carey Place. The meeting starts at 7pm and runs for an hour, finishing at around 8pm, offering a way to close the weekend with support before the week ahead begins. It is an open meeting, so it is not restricted to people who gamble; family, friends and professionals are equally welcome. There is no cost to attend and no need to book beforehand, so newcomers can simply arrive on the evening. It gives central London a regular, confidential space for people to share their experience of gambling and recovery within the Gamblers Anonymous fellowship.
