Livingston St John’s Big Book

Livingston St John's Big Book meets on Sunday evenings at seven o'clock in the Houston Room, on the first floor of the Education Centre at St John's Hospital, Howden West Road, in the Howden part of Livingston, and runs for about ninety minutes. As the name indicates, the format is centred on Big Book study rather than open sharing. It's a closed meeting, kept for those with a desire to stop drinking under AA's Third Tradition, rather than open to family, friends or professionals. The Houston Room has wheelchair access. There's no charge and no need to book ahead: people generally make their way to the first floor of the Education Centre shortly before seven.
