Lichfield's Thursday AA meeting runs from 8pm for an hour and a half at the Methodist Church Hall on Tamworth Street. The entrance is at the rear of the church on Backchester Lane, reached via Gresley Row, so allow a couple of extra minutes to find the right door on your first visit. This is an open meeting, welcoming anyone with a desire to stop drinking along with family members, friends and professionals who want to see how AA works. The hall is wheelchair accessible. A chit system is available, so attendance slips can be signed for court, probation or treatment purposes. As always with AA, it is free and there is nothing to book.
