Lawford

Lawford is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held in the village of Lawford, just outside Manningtree in Essex, every Saturday at 7pm. It meets at the Venture Centre 2000 on Bromley Road and runs for about an hour. This is a members-only meeting, meaning it is for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than an occasion for family, friends or professionals to sit in. Newcomers who think AA might help them are still welcome to come along, even for a first visit, to see how the fellowship works. Wheelchair access at the Venture Centre has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may want to check beforehand. The meeting follows the usual AA pattern of shared experience and mutual support among members.
