Knutsford

The Friday edition of Knutsford's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting runs from 8pm for an hour and a half at Knutsford Methodist Church on Princess Street, entered from the rear of the building. Friday evening is a moment in the week when resolve can wobble, and a regular meeting in that slot is a solid piece of scaffolding for anyone building a sober routine. Like its Tuesday counterpart at the same church, it is a closed meeting, kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking; newcomers are welcome without any introduction or referral. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Attendance costs nothing, no booking exists, and only your first name will ever come up.
