The slightly playful name aside, it's a well-established meeting serving the Ashfield area, with a straightforward mix of reading and open sharing each week. It's a closed meeting, for AA members and anyone with a desire to stop drinking, rather than an open meeting for visitors. The Ashwood Centre is wheelchair accessible, and attendance chits can be signed here for anyone who needs proof for court, probation or a treatment programme. Portland Street is a well-known location locally, so the venue itself is easy enough to find.
