Kingston ACA Meeting

The Kingston ACA Meeting rounds off the week on Sunday evenings, starting at 6.30pm at Kingston Methodist Church on Fairfield South. Adult Children of Alcoholics is a fellowship for adults whose upbringing was affected by a parent's drinking or by other family dysfunction, and it uses the twelve steps to work through the lasting effects of that childhood rather than to stop a behaviour of one's own. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including friends, relatives and professionals who want to understand or support someone with that background. There is no charge to attend and nothing to book in advance; newcomers can simply arrive at the church for half past six.
