Keynsham Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families

Keynsham Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families meets every Thursday at 7.30pm at Keynsham Baptist Church on the High Street, between Bristol and Bath. As an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting, it is for adults who grew up with a parent's drinking or with other family dysfunction, and the emphasis throughout is on healing from childhood rather than on changing a present-day habit. The meeting is open, so alongside those who identify as adult children, friends, relatives and professionals are equally welcome to sit in. Its full name reflects that the group welcomes people affected by wider family dysfunction, not only by a parent's drinking. It costs nothing to attend and there's nothing to book ahead of time - newcomers can simply turn up and join the group.
