Kensington A Design For Living That Really Works meets every Tuesday at Kensington United Reformed Church on Allen Street, with doors opening at 6.30pm ahead of the 7.30pm start. The extended hour and a half format allows plenty of time for both readings and open sharing, making it a good option for anyone wanting more than a quick meeting. It is open to all, including people supporting someone with a desire to stop drinking as well as those newly exploring AA themselves. A chit system operates here, so anyone who needs a signed attendance slip for a court, probation or treatment requirement can ask a member of the group. The church is wheelchair accessible, and the early doors give newcomers time to settle in before the meeting starts.
