Irvine Woodlands

Irvine Woodlands is a Friday-night Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held at the Woodlands Centre on Kilwinning Road in Irvine, starting at eight o'clock and running for two hours. It is a closed meeting, which means it is kept for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than being open to family, friends or professionals who might otherwise sit in. The two-hour length gives more room than most meetings for full sharing, so newcomers arriving early will usually find a fuller room by the time it starts. The Woodlands Centre has wheelchair access. There is no need to bring anything or announce yourself in advance; simply take a seat before eight and the meeting will begin as usual, with members introducing themselves in turn.
