Polish speaking meeting but everyone is welcome as we speak in English if required
Przystan is a Polish-speaking Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held every Thursday at 7pm at St Mary Church on Woodbridge Rd in Ipswich, lasting about an hour. It is an open meeting, so family, friends, and anyone with an interest in AA are welcome alongside those with a desire to stop drinking. Although the meeting is conducted in Polish, everyone is welcome, and members will speak in English if required, so a language barrier need not put anyone off attending. A chit system is available here, so attendance can be signed off for anyone needing evidence for court, probation, or treatment. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost to attend and no booking required, so anyone can simply come along for 7pm.
