Guildford Newcomers is one of the regular Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in Guildford, held every Friday at 7.30pm at Quaker Meeting Hall on 3 Ward St. As its name suggests, it is aimed particularly at newcomers to the fellowship. Meetings here run for an hour and ten minutes. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience with one another to solve their common problem and help others recover from alcoholism, and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. As with all AA meetings, there's no fee and no booking system; anyone can walk in on the day. You'll find the postcode GU1 4LH useful if you're using a map to get there.
