Greenock Wednesday

On Wednesdays at 10am, the Salvation Army hall on Regent Street in Greenock, Renfrewshire hosts this Al-Anon Family Groups meeting, and lasts around two hours. The fellowship is for people affected by someone else's drinking, whether that's a partner, parent, adult child or friend. The meeting is open, meaning newcomers, visitors and anyone curious about Al-Anon can attend alongside regular members. There is no pressure to speak, and people are free to simply listen for as long as they need before joining the discussion. Al-Anon groups follow the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous, and meetings are self-supporting through voluntary contributions from members.
