Gospel Oak Acceptance

Gospel Oak Acceptance is a closed meeting on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm in Gospel Oak Methodist Church on Agincourt Road, lasting an hour. The name draws on the AA idea of acceptance as a key to recovery, a theme that often shapes the sharing. Being closed, it is intended for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than open to the general public, though the venue itself also hosts several other AA meetings through the week under different names. A chit system is available, so members can have a slip signed for court, probation or treatment purposes if needed. Wheelchair access at Gospel Oak Methodist Church has not been confirmed. There is no cost to attend and no need to book.
