Glenrothes Keep It Simple meets on Monday afternoons at 2pm at 1 Lodge Rise, running for about an hour. No venue name is recorded beyond the street address, so it is worth using the postcode, KY7 5TG, to find the right building if this is your first visit. The name reflects a common piece of AA guidance, encouraging members not to overcomplicate their recovery, and the meeting is likely to reflect that ethos in its discussion. It is a closed meeting, for those with a desire to stop drinking, and newcomers matching that description are welcome. The venue has wheelchair access, which is helpful to know given the lack of a named building.
Who is this meeting for?
This is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, which means it is for anyone with a desire to stop drinking rather than open to the general public. Newcomers are welcome as long as that describes them, including people early in sobriety or simply exploring whether AA is for them.
Is it free, and should I book in advance?
No, it is completely free and there is no need to book or register in advance. Simply arrive for the start time and take a seat; AA meetings run on voluntary donations towards room hire and literature, but nobody is asked to pay to attend.
How do I find the venue, and is it accessible?
The address on record is 1 Lodge Rise, postcode KY7 5TG, and the venue has wheelchair access.
