About this meeting
Glasgow International keeps the name of the local group it began as but now draws members from a wide range of countries into a single online meeting every Saturday at 7pm, UK and Ireland time. It follows the Adult Children of Alcoholics approach of understanding rather than treating a childhood shaped by a parent's drinking or other family dysfunction, with sharing open to whatever members bring that week. Because it attracts an international group, discussion can reflect quite different cultural experiences of family dysfunction alongside the shared core of ACA's approach. It is an open meeting, so friends, family members and professionals interested in the fellowship are welcome to listen in too.
