Gillingham Big Book Step

Gillingham Big Book Step is a members-only meeting held on Tuesday evenings at 7pm at The Old Vicarage on Vicarage Road. Lasting an hour, it combines readings from the Big Book with discussion structured around the steps, giving members a way to connect the text directly to their own recovery from a desire to stop drinking. As a members-only meeting, it is intended for those working the programme rather than family, friends or professional visitors. The Old Vicarage is wheelchair accessible, which is useful given the venue also hosts a Thursday newcomers session at the same address. Vicarage Road lies within Gillingham, close to other AA meetings held across the week in the Medway towns.
