The Get Well Monday group meets each week at The Creative Training Spaces on Dukes Street in Wellington, Telford, gathering at 7pm for an hour of Narcotics Anonymous recovery. Finding the venue is straightforward: it sits in the town centre, about five minutes on foot from the bus station, near Greggs and close to the clock. Sessions centre on the Just For Today book study, with the format varying week to week so members can share and read together. This is an open meeting, so as well as anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, family, friends and interested professionals are welcome to sit in. The room is wheelchair accessible. Newcomers are always welcome — turn up a little early if you'd like to settle in.
Who can come to this meeting?
Anyone is welcome. As an open NA meeting, it's for people with a desire to stop using drugs, as well as family, friends and professionals who want to understand the fellowship. If you're new, just come along.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. You can simply turn up on the Monday. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation may be passed round, but it's entirely optional.
