Gam-Anon Cork

Gam-Anon Cork meets every Saturday at midday at the Dominican Centre, next to St Mary's on Pope's Quay. It is a fellowship for the family and friends of people affected by someone else's gambling, giving partners, parents, children and friends a chance to talk about their own experience in a confidential setting. The meeting is open to anyone in that situation, whether the gambling is ongoing, has recently stopped, or ended long ago. Sessions run for around an hour and a quarter, longer than many similar meetings, giving members more time to share. No introduction is needed and no one is asked to speak unless they want to; newcomers are free to simply listen on their first visit.
