About this meeting

Gam-Anon Carrigaline meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Parish Centre, behind the church on Main Street. Gam-Anon is for the partners, parents, adult children and friends of people affected by someone else's gambling, offering a place to talk honestly about the impact it has had on their own life. The meeting is open, so anyone in that position is welcome, whether the gambling is still happening or has stopped. There is no requirement to have any connection to Gamblers Anonymous or to bring the person who gambles, and many people attend entirely on their own. Newcomers can simply arrive on the night; there is no referral process and nothing to sign up for in advance.

Common questions

Do I need the person who gambles to come with me?

No, Gam-Anon Carrigaline is for you. Most people attend without the person whose gambling has affected them ever being present.

Is it free to attend?

Yes, there's no cost and no need to book, just come to the Parish Centre for 7.30pm on Tuesday.

Where exactly is the meeting held?

At the Parish Centre on Main Street in Carrigaline, behind the church.
