GA Carlisle

The Church of Scotland on Chapel Street in Carlisle hosts a Gamblers Anonymous meeting every Monday evening, starting at 7.15pm and running for an hour and three-quarters until around 9pm. It is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, including family members and friends affected by someone else's gambling, and professionals, as well as people with a desire to stop gambling themselves. There is no fee for attending and no need to book a place in advance; newcomers can simply arrive at the church on the night. As a weekly meeting, it gives Carlisle and the surrounding Cumbrian area a regular, confidential space to share experience and support one another through the Gamblers Anonymous fellowship.
