GA Aberdeen

Aberdeen has a Wednesday evening Gamblers Anonymous meeting at Ruthrieston Community Centre on Holborn Street, starting at 7.30pm and running for two hours. It's an open meeting, so anyone affected by gambling, whether their own or someone else's, is welcome to attend, along with anyone simply wanting to understand what GA involves before deciding whether to come to a meeting themselves. There's no cost, no sign-up process and no obligation to speak, many people attend several meetings just listening before joining in. The only requirement to become a GA member is a desire to stop gambling. Ruthrieston Community Centre is on Holborn Street, close to the centre of Aberdeen, and there's also a Saturday morning meeting at the same venue.
