The Frontline To Freedom Group meets every Monday afternoon at 4pm in Teach Mhuire on Lower Gardiner Street, close to Dublin city centre. Running for an hour, it's a Narcotics Anonymous meeting where members share their experience of staying clean and support one another in doing so. The mid-afternoon timing suits anyone whose evenings are difficult to keep free, and the Gardiner Street location is within easy reach of the north inner city and its transport links. This is a members' meeting, so it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. You don't need to speak, prepare anything or arrive with the right words — turning up and listening is enough on your first visit, and every one after that.
Who can attend this meeting?
This is a closed NA meeting, which means it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. If that's you, you're welcome to come along, whether it's your first meeting or your hundredth. Open meetings, by contrast, welcome family and visitors, but this one is for members.
Do I need to book or pay?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a basket is passed for those who wish to give, but nobody is expected to and newcomers never pay.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
We don't have confirmed accessibility details for Teach Mhuire on Lower Gardiner Street. If step-free access or other arrangements matter to you, it's worth contacting the group ahead of time to check what's available.
