Friday Into Saturday

Friday Into Saturday meets late, at 10.30pm on Fridays, at Kelvinside Hillhead Church near the corner of Saltoun St and Observatory Rd in Glasgow's west end, lasting about an hour. As the name suggests, it gives people somewhere to go right at the point where Friday night tips into Saturday, a time when other support can be thin on the ground. It is a closed AA meeting, for those with a desire to stop drinking, rather than an open session for the public.
