Every Tuesday at 7.30pm, Al-Anon Family Groups meets at the Salvation Army hall on Canterbury Road in Folkestone, Kent. It is for anyone touched by a family member's or friend's drinking, whatever the relationship — partner, parent, sibling, adult child or friend. Being an open meeting, it is welcoming to newcomers as well as those who have attended Al-Anon before. Sessions last roughly an hour and a half; there is no cost and no need to book, and the person who drinks does not need to be there. Newcomers are welcome without any need to get in touch beforehand.
