FINCHLEY WOMEN meets every Monday at 7.30pm at Church Hall in Finchley, north London, as a Narcotics Anonymous meeting. It is a women's meeting, for women only. In line with Narcotics Anonymous's own tradition, the sole basis for attending is a desire to stop using drugs. Narcotics Anonymous is a non-professional, self-supporting fellowship of people who meet regularly to help one another stay clean. Attendance is free, and nobody is asked to sign up in advance or give their details beforehand. The meeting is run entirely by its own members, in the peer-support tradition the fellowship has followed for decades.
